Am using Automatic Cart Upsells & Cross-sells and I'm totally satisfied with it. Much more I like its flexible settings where can choose how much upsells to show and others.

As for me I suggest using Cart Upsells & Cross-sells. So convenient to see upsells' description in the pop-up
